Blackwell Adventure are offering fantastic DofE opportunities for Gold residentials.

Blackwell Adventure are running a number of Gold Duke of Edinburgh residentials, that we host in one of our Tented or Podded Villages and includes catering and a full and engaging programme. We would love to hear from you if you are looking to complete or gain some of your DofE award in the West Midlands.

Course Details

You will be expected to arrive on the Monday morning and depart on the Friday afternoon, all breakfast and lunches will be provided and the evening meals will be catered individually by yourselves.

Breakfasts will be continental breakfasts (cereals and a hot breakfast) and lunches will be a packed lunch. Evening meals will be self catered, you will need to bring food to cook evening meals, there are only hobs and a microwave available so bear that in mind when menu planning.

The week will consist of 3 activity days provided by Blackwell Adventure and 1 day doing volunteer work.

Accommodation will be provided in our purpose built tented village where the tents accommodate 4 people, each in bunk beds or you can bring your own tent to sleep in. Our April and October residential will be hosted in wooden pods.

Evening times will be your own time to relax, however, we will have a couple of planned evening activities for you to opt in or out of. We have inserted a sample programme for the week * Activities subject to change

The week is a mixture of activities twinned with a day of volunteering TBC.

General Information

The week is strictly no alcohol allowed.

You will need to bring your own bedding (duvet or sleeping bag, sheet and pillow) and come dressed for the occasion ready for all weather as the programme will continue.
